Please join HIAS and our colleagues from the Interfaith Immigration Coalition for our monthly grassroots call this Monday, April 2nd at 4pm EST. This call will focus on the immigrant detention system - a representative from the "We Were Strangers, Too: Jewish Campaign for Immigration Reform" will share information about the Jewish community's outreach to immigrants in detention and the intersection of immigration issues with the upcoming holiday of Passover. In addition, we will hear policy updates on detention reforms and federal spending on detention as well as ways faith communities can get involved in supporting migrants inside and outside of detention.
